How to Study the Bible

This series of sermons was instigated by a question posed by one of our church members. “Pastor, do you have a book or something that could help me learn how to study the Bible?” Versus giving a book, I chose to preach a series for the benefit of the entire body. Besides prayer, the art and science of studying the scriptures is a lost discipline in the professing American church. In this series, I offer principles and guidelines and the reasons why every believer should set aside some time in the pursuit of Bible study. I hope these lessons become a positive help in the study of the sacred scriptures.
