THE A.C.T.S. OF PRAYER

ADORATION

To God for His attributes:

Holiness - Forgiveness - Love - Grace - Mercy  - Etc.

To shew forth Thy lovingkindness in the morning, and Thy faithfulness every night,

Psalm 92:1.

Give unto the LORD the glory due unto His name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.

Psalm 29:2.

CONFESSION

To God for our:

Sins  - Iniquities - Carelessness - Waywardness - Unconcern - Etc.

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins,

and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar,

and His word is not in us.

I John 1:8-10.

THANKSGIVING

To God for His:

Blessing - Love - Grace - Mercy - Forgiveness - Etc.

It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD,

and to sing praises unto Thy name, O Most. High:

Psalm 92:2

And let the peace of God rule in your hearts,

to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

Colossians 3:15.

SUPPLICATION

To God for our needs and the needs of others to sustain our lives.

Yet have thou respect unto the prayer of thy servant, and to his supplication,

O LORD my God, to hearken unto the cry and to the prayer,

which thy servant prayeth before thee to day.

1 Kings 8:29.

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication

with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

Philippians 4:6
