The Knowledge of God's Will

Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do The Will of Him that sent Me, and to Finish His Work.

John 4:34

But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth His coming; . . The Lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for Him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the Unbelievers. And that servant, which knew his Lord's Will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to His Will, shall be beaten with many stripes. But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: Luke 12:45-48.

If any man will do His Will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of Myself. John 7:17.

Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth His Will, him He heareth. John 9:31.

The God of our fathers hath chosen thee, that thou shouldest know His Will, and see that Just One, and shouldest hear the voice of His mouth. For thou shalt be His Witness unto all men of what thou hast seen and heard. .Acts 22:14-15.

According as He hath chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His Will, To the praise of the glory of His grace, wherein He hath made us accepted in the beloved. Eph 1:4-6. Having made known unto us the mystery of His Will, according to His good pleasure which He hath purposed in Himself. Eph 1.9. In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of Him who worketh all things after the counsel of His Own Will: That we should be to the praise of His glory, who first trusted in Christ. Eph 1:12. But as the servants of Christ, doing the Will of God from the heart; With good will doing service, as to the Lord,  Ephesians 6:6

Who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the Will of God and our Father: Galatians 1:4.

For it is God which worketh in you Both To Will and To Do of His Good Pleasure. Philippians 2:13.

And when He had called the people unto Him with His disciples also, He said unto them, Whosoever will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. Mark 8:34.

For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be Filled with the Knowledge of His Will in All Wisdom and Spiritual Understanding; That ye might Walk Worthy of the Lord unto All Pleasing, being Fruitful in Every Good Work, and Increasing in the Knowledge of God; Colossians 1:9-10. Labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the Will of God. Colossians 4:12.

In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.1 Thessalonians 5:13. For this is the Will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication: That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour. 1 Thessalonians 4:13.

Of His Own Will begat He us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures. James 1:18.

That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God. 1 Peter 4:2

And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask any thing according to His Will, He heareth us: And if we know that He hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him. 1 John 5:14-15.

He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. Revelation 3:5. For God hath put in their hearts to fulfill His Will. Revelation 17:17.And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He Will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God. Revelation 21:3. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be My son. Revelation 21:7.

Make you perfect in every good work to do His Will, working in you that which is Well Pleasing in His Sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. Hebrews 13:21.

I will worship toward Thy holy temple, and praise

Thy name for Thy lovingkindness and for Thy truth:

for Thou Hast Magnified Thy Word

Above All Thy Name.

Psa 138:2

Oh that men would praise the LORD for His goodness,

and for His wonderful works to the children of men!

To day if ye will hear His voice, harden not your hearts. Hebrews 4:7.
